On October 23rd, TorcuArt celebrated with great success its second round table focused on the music of famous Spanish composer Manuel de Falla and its influence on contemporary composers around the world. We benefitted from the collaboration of Angel Gil Ordonez, music director of Postclassical Ensemble and the Georgetown University Orquestra, Jose Luis Novo, music Director of the Annapolis Symphony Orquestra, Dr. Trinidad Pardo Ballester, author of the “Flamenco: Orientalism exoticism and the Spanish national Identity" and the concert-pianist Carlos CesarRodriguez. Not only did we learn about our great composer but enjoyed a delicious paella and other Spanish tapas!
